The 20-year-old actress, who sings and directs the below video, told Paper, “I had gotten the itch a couple months back to delve into directing and the world of production and was inspired by a situation in my own life to write a simple story about a boy and a girl.” “The simplicity of the story paired with the choice to use a song instead of dialogue, allowed me the freedom to get creative in my means of storytelling,” Shenae added. “I wanted a film that looked beautiful and made people feel something without telling them how they should feel.” Shenae Grimes - ‘Myself & I’ |

The 42-year-old actress and her co-star apparently were at ease with each other right away! “The moment I was on the set with her (Roberts), I felt really relaxed,” Javier told the Vancouver Sun. “That’s enormous value, for any actor, to feel you’re working with somebody who’s creative, intelligent, and generous, but also makes you part of the journey,” he added. | Fantasia Hospitalized After 'Medication Overdose' Posted: 10 Aug 2010 01:20 PM PDT  Fantasia Barrino has been hospitalized after what her rep called a “medication overdose”. The 26-year-old singer’s condition is reportedly not life-threatening. Fantasia’s hospitalization on Monday coincided with a North Carolina woman’s allegations that her husband had an affair with Fantasia and broke up their marriage. Her lawyer said the woman used Fantasia’s name to “sensationalize that litigation and to insure that her tale would be picked up by tabloids” (via People). |

| Shane West Takes On 'Nikita' in Toronto Posted: 10 Aug 2010 09:20 AM PDT  Shane West hits the set for his new TV show Nikita being filmed in the city of Toronto in Ontario, Canada on Monday (August 9). The 32-year-old A Walk to Remember and ER actor stars opposite Maggie Q in the new spy series coming to CW. Shane plays an agent pursuing a rogue spy, Nikita, in the new show. Producers have stressed that this show is not a reboot of the La Femme Nikita series but a continuation of that storyline. You can catch Nikita Thursday, September 9th on the CW this fall.
