| GLEE Adding Christian Character Posted: 01 Jun 2010 03:29 PM PDT  Glee creator Ryan Murphy is all about promoting acceptance of everyone, regardless of race, religious beliefs or sexual orientation. That’s why he’s injecting a little something for his more conservative fans. “I’m adding a Christian character,” he tells TV Guide. “We’ve taken a couple jabs at the right wing this year, so what I want to do with this character is have someone who Christian kids and parents can recognize and say, ‘Oh, look—I’m represented there, too!’ If we’re trying to form a world of inclusiveness, we’ve got to include that point of view as well.” This character, who will appear next season, likely won’t be accepting of Kurt (Chris Colfer, pictured), Rachel’s dads, or the club’s sexually suggestive music selections. |

Xavier portrays the Earl of Southampton. “He’s one of the only people that Shakespeare ever dedicated his work to,” he shared. | Al Gore & Wife Tipper to Separate Posted: 01 Jun 2010 10:14 AM PDT  Former vice president Al Gore and wife Tipper are separating after 40 years of marriage. “This is very much a mutual and mutually supportive decision that we have made together following a process of long and careful consideration,” the couple said in a statement to Politico. “We ask for respect for our privacy and that of our family, and we do not intend to comment further.” Al, 62, and Tipper, 61, were married at the National Cathedral in Washington in 1970. They have four children. |

| Ted Koppel's Son Found Dead at 40 Posted: 01 Jun 2010 07:20 AM PDT  Andrew Koppel, the 40-year-old son of Nightline anchor Ted Koppel, was found dead in a Washington Heights apartment on Monday (May 31) around 1:30AM. Sources tell NYDN that Andrew lived in Rockaway Park, Queens with his girlfriend and daughter. He reportedly went on a daylong drinking binge, starting at a bar in Hell’s Kitchen Sunday afternoon. Our deepest condolences go out to Andrew’s friends and family. RIP. |

Evan, 22, and Marilyn, 41, were joined by Memento actor Guy Pearce and another friend during the nighttime chat. Evan and Guy are currently in town working on a new HBO miniseries, Mildred Pierce.
